We mix it up; we innovate and we don't get hung up on the rules, putting traditional with contemporary, East with West and colours and compositions that catch everyone's attention.
Teddy our head designer has worked in the wedding industry for over 15 years as a stylist and fell in love with floral design during her journey.
Since then she has won many accolades as an event and floral designer in Cheshire.
She moved home to Shropshire to be nearer to family and started A Modern Florist with an aim to lead the way locally on sustainable and eco based floristry.
We at A Modern Florist want to be the change that is desperately needed in our industry.
We don't want to see tons of florals going to landfill from events across Shropshire and we don't want to see micro plastic floristry foams being used in floral designs.
Yes, this does make things a little more complicated and a little more expensive but we are happy to accept that to lead the way locally on how floristry is changing.
